The name derived from the fact that there will only ever be 21 million BTCs in existence. This club is relatively easy to get in. A more elite group to get in is the “1 Million Club” which would require a person to own 21 BTCs.

Once the circulating supply reaches its maximum, Bitcoin miners will no longer receive block rewards. I would call it also that :) there are alot people around with more than just 1btc. it's like a 5-10 Million Dollar Club at MAX. There will never be more than 21 million bitcoin. This rule, encoded in Bitcoin’s source code, cannot be changed thanks to Bitcoin’s decentralized nature. If it were possible, changing this hard cap would destroy the value proposition of Bitcoin.
