The Ohio History Center is the headquarters of the Ohio History Connection and a museum showcasing Ohio's history from the ice age to today. These exhibits feature a variety of topics including the Civil War, natural history, WWI, the 1950s and interactive children activities. Currently the center is closed due to COVID-19 concerns.

This collection, funded in part through an Institute of Museum and Library Services LSTA grant, includes 1832-1879 and portions of 1885, 1889 and 1909. The Ohio History Connection has digitized over 415,000 pages of Ohio newspapers through its participation in the National Digital Newspaper Program.
